POSITION: ACCOUNTANT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bread of Life Church International is currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified person to fill the position of Accountant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accountant will report to the Finance Manager and shall be primarily responsible for executing daily accounting activities in support of the Church and its sub entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detailed responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Preparation of financial and management accounts and relevant reports to comply with requirements and facilitate decision making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Preparation and performance of Bank Reconciliations in order to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Timely preparation of NAPSA, PAYE NHIMA schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Submission of all statutory returns and payments to relevant authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Posting transactions and maintenance of accounting records in order to facilitate efficient storage, retrieval of information and decision making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Reconciliation of general ledger and sub-ledger for receivable and payable balances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 A full Grade 12 School Certificate with minimum of Credit in English and Mathematics<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 CIMA\/ACCA\/CA Zambia\/Degree in Accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in accounting field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Good verbal, written and presentation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Knowledge and experience of computerized payroll and Pastel accounting software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Competency in Microsoft applications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Good technical, numerical and analytical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to work on tight deadlines and extended hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
